Tiendanimal: from eCommerce to Digital Store, with Netipbox Technologies

Eleven years ago, two men from Malaga set out to improve the supply of products for pets with an online platform called Tiendanimal. The adventure, which began in the online universe, changed the strategy in 2014 and began to open physical outlets. At present, this company, the market leader in domestic animal products, has 51 physical shops throughout Spain, with an average area of 1000 m².

Tiendanimal is one of the many examples of business that begin doing the reverse of the traditional: they have gone from the online shop to brick-and-mortar, from e-Commerce to the physical point of sale. Some points of sale, on the other hand, easily identifiable with a powerful brand image, meticulous product communication and unique user buying experience. It’s known as Digital Store.

Within this strategy, Tiendanimal has played an important role with the company Netipbox Technologies, a leader in Smart Digital Signage solutions for the digital transformation of physical stores.
