The FLO·W Experience demonstrates how digital signage can go beyond content management to become the audiovisual layer that connects screens, sensors, home automation, lighting, sound, and physical products within a personalized brand experience

Noken, the Porcelanosa Group’s bathroom brand, developed the FLO·W Experience with a clear vision: to showcase what the bathroom of the future might look like—not through a traditional product exhibition, but through an immersive, sensory, and personalized experience.

Located in the Noken showroom at the Porcelanosa Group headquarters in Vila-real, Castellón, the project was conceived under the “Future Living of Wellness” concept—a vision that combines design, wellness, sustainability, smart living, connected health, and smart devices applied to the bathroom space.

The challenge was ambitious: to transform a product showroom into an environment capable of responding to visitors. To achieve this, it was necessary to integrate architecture, audiovisual content, screens, sound, dynamic lighting, sensors, NFC, automation, water, smart mirrors, digital interfaces, and artificial intelligence into a single, seamless experience.

nsign Managed Solutions served as the project’s audiovisual technology integrator, in addition to supplying hardware, installing the systems, and deploying its CMS platform to manage and synchronize the space’s digital content layer. The solution was developed in collaboration with the Noken team and Loxone, the platform responsible for the automation and physical control of the showroom, including access, lighting, water, and other technical systems.

“For Noken, FLO·W Experience represented a very ambitious challenge: transforming the showroom into an immersive experience capable of conveying our vision of the bathroom of the future,” says David Monzón of Noken. “The collaboration with nsign was key to coordinating the space’s audiovisual layer and ensuring that visuals, sound, content, and personalized interaction worked in sync within a seamless narrative for the visitor,” he adds.

The result is an experience where technology is not presented as an isolated element but is integrated into the space’s narrative. Visitors don’t simply see screens: they activate scenes, receive personalized content, and experience how the bathroom can become a connected, intuitive, and wellness-oriented environment.

A Showroom That Recognizes the Guest

The experience begins even before entering the space. Each sales representative or host uses a personalized NFC card that identifies them and triggers a sequence tailored to their profile and language.

From that moment on, the system delivers a personalized welcome and coordinates content, lighting, sound, and audiovisual elements. The voiceover can be adapted to the selected language, and the different areas of the tour are activated via NFC points, sensors, and physical controls.

This logic allows the visit to function as a guided tour, but without relying on voice commands or visible interfaces that disrupt the group’s flow. The host naturally guides the experience, and the space responds to their actions.

The CMS Platform as the Audiovisual Layer of the Experience

One of the key aspects of the project is the integration between nsign’s CMS platform and Loxone’s automation system.

Loxone centralizes the physical aspects of the experience: access points, lighting, water, and other technical systems. nsign, for its part, manages and delivers audiovisual content through its players, coordinating the playback of video, images, sound, and digital scenes across the showroom’s various displays.

This integration allows a physical action—such as tapping an NFC card, activating a sensor, or selecting a mode from an integrated control—to trigger a specific audiovisual response: a change in content, the activation of a scene, a variation in lighting, the playback of sound, or a modification of the atmosphere.

In total, the project integrates about ten nsign players and ten display devices, including transparent screens, mirrors with hidden displays, LED screens used as digital windows, a large curved screen in the bathtub area, and a projector for ambient effects.

From the Smart Sink to the Interactive Shower

The tour is organized into different zones that demonstrate how the bathroom can evolve into a smart ecosystem.

In the sink area, three 32-inch screens integrated behind one-way mirrors transform the mirror into a personal information interface. The system can display the calendar, music, weather forecast, sleep score, heart rate, Body Battery, and water consumption data. The experience simulates a morning routine in which the space not only accompanies the user but also anticipates useful information to start the day.

On the sides, two large-format LED screens function as digital windows, creating a sense of openness toward the outside environment through audiovisual content such as sunrise videos. These screens are not designed as traditional communication media, but rather as architectural elements that alter the perception of space.

The shower area incorporates one of the installation’s most striking elements: a transparent adhesive LED screen by Unilumin, integrated into the glass, which allows users to select different modes of use. The user can choose from programs such as eco/Waterforest, relax, or activation. By interacting with the screen and sensors, both the audiovisual content and the physical behavior of the shower change, altering the type of experience associated with water.

Here, digital signage ceases to be a one-way broadcast channel and becomes an interactive interface that connects content, product, and environment.

AI, Immersive Bathtub, and Wellness Scenes

In the dressing area, a 43-inch LCD screen displays AI-generated content, showing personalized outfit suggestions for the host. This scene expands the concept of the bathroom into the realm of smart living, positioning the space as part of a connected domestic routine that accompanies the user at different times of the day.

The bathtub area features a large Absen LED screen measuring approximately 2.5 x 2 meters, installed with a slight curve to enhance the immersive experience. Using a Loxone Touch Pure Flex Tree control integrated into the bathtub itself, the host can select different modes, such as movie, music, or relaxation. Each option synchronizes content, lighting, and ambiance.

The setup is complemented by a subtle projection from a 5,000-lumen Optoma Full HD projector, which adds an atmospheric visual layer to the space.

Invisible Technology at the Service of the Experience

“One of the main achievements of the FLO·W Experience is that the technological complexity remains hidden from the visitor,” explains Sergio Soriano, AV Sales Director at nsign Managed Solutions. “Behind the experience are special displays, players, sensors, NFC, automation, programming, lighting, sound, HTML interfaces, and home automation control. However, for the user, the interaction is simple: a zone is activated, the space responds, and the story continues.”

This natural feel was essential for Noken. The company wanted the technology to not compete with the design or the product, but rather to help convey a more emotional and intuitive vision of the bathroom of the future.

“One of the project’s greatest achievements has been to ensure that all the technological complexity remains hidden behind an intuitive and emotional experience. Visitors don’t perceive FLO·W as a product showcase, but rather as a real-life demonstration of how design, technology, and well-being can come together to envision the bathroom of the future,” adds David Monzón.

The collaboration between Noken, nsign, and Loxone made it possible to create an experience where every element plays a role within the narrative. Noken led the overall conceptualization, artistic development, construction of the space, and integration of its products. Loxone provided the automation platform for the environment’s physical response. nsign integrated the audiovisual and content layers, ensuring that every screen, player, and digital sequence was activated in sync with the experience.

A New Language for the Showroom

The FLO·W Experience demonstrates how brand spaces can evolve beyond mere product display. Instead of explaining the smart bathroom through catalogs, standalone videos, or isolated demonstrations, Noken offers a comprehensive experience where architects, interior designers, distributors, hotel chains, restaurant operators, and other professional visitors can see and feel how a connected bathroom environment would function.

The project helps communicate complex concepts—connected health, water conservation, personalization, wellness, smart devices, home automation, and artificial intelligence—in a tangible and memorable way. At the same time, it reinforces the positioning of Noken and Porcelanosa Group as leaders in design, innovation, and well-being within the premium home furnishings sector.

For nsign, the project reflects the natural evolution of digital signage toward more interactive, contextual experiences that are connected to the physical space. Its CMS platform does more than just display content: it integrates with external systems, responds to events, coordinates scenes, and allows digital content to play an active role in the user experience.

“The FLO·W Experience transforms the showroom into a living environment. A space where technology does not impose itself, but rather complements the environment; where screens do not interrupt, but rather blend in; and where visitors do not merely observe a vision of the bathroom of the future, but actually experience it,” concludes Sergio Soriano of nsign Managed Solutions.
