**Connect Retail Technology has recognised our Chief Technology & Product Officer among the women changing how brands use technology to serve their customers.**

Connect Retail Technology today announced the winners of its **2026 Top Women in Retail Technology** awards. The programme celebrates innovators, leaders and changemakers transforming how businesses engage customers through technology, across retail, restaurants, financial services, hospitality and healthcare. Among this year’s winners is **Teresa Rojas**, Chief Technology & Product Officer at nsign.

## Technology, product and security at the same table

Teresa leads technology, product and security at nsign. It is not a collection of titles; it is a way of working. The person who decides what the platform does is the same person accountable for it running every day, and running securely.

For a chain with hundreds of locations, that comes down to very practical questions. Does a price change reach every store at the same time? Does the morning campaign disappear when its time slot ends? What happens if a player goes down at an airport on a Saturday afternoon? Is every player, which is ultimately a computer on the company network, protected?

Teresa described it in her *Day in the Life* interview with Digital Signage Today: her day combines technology, product and security, because in digital signage the three cannot be separated.

## Security: from technical requirement to part of the product

This year the nsign platform was certified under Spain’s **National Security Framework (ENS), medium category**, the standard the Spanish public administration requires from its technology providers. For chains running thousands of screens, security is no longer a contract appendix: it is a condition for reliable in-store communication.

It is the same idea behind everything we do: **simplify complexity**. Today nsign manages more than 73,000 screens in over 50 countries for more than 900 brands. Making all of that work, without anyone in the store having to think about it, is in large part the work of Teresa’s team.
