Sony certifies nsign.tv for its BRAVIA Professional Displays

The nsign.tv platform has obtained Sony's certification for its BRAVIA Professional Displays, bringing Sony's professional displays into a technology ecosystem designed to manage complex, distributed, multi-hardware Digital Signage infrastructures from a single platform.

For organizations with hundreds or thousands of screens spread across multiple locations, markets and countries, the complexity isn't just about publishing content. It's about consistently deploying, operating and maintaining an infrastructure where different manufacturers, operating systems, device generations and local configurations can coexist.

nsign.tv, present in more than 50 countries, is designed precisely to simplify that complexity. Sony's certification now expands the possibilities for our customers and integrators to deploy and manage Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays as part of that global infrastructure.

An integration designed to operate at scale

The integration takes advantage of the REST API that Sony exposes locally on every BRAVIA panel. The nsign.tv application runs directly on the professional display and makes it possible to manage device functions such as power on/off, reboot, screen rotation and the application's own updates, with no need for manual intervention on each unit.

Provisioning has also been designed to simplify large-scale deployments. Each screen can be configured through a profile prepared in advance by Sony, applied by scanning a QR code, reducing manual tasks during installation and ensuring a faster, more consistent setup.

When an organization deploys hundreds or thousands of devices across different stores, restaurants, offices, healthcare facilities or public spaces, eliminating small repetitive tasks stops being a matter of convenience: it reduces installation time, errors and operating costs, and makes it easier for the same architecture to scale consistently across markets.

For technical teams and integrators who need to go deeper into the implementation, nsign.tv also provides specific documentation on the Sony BRAVIA integration.

Sony joins a multi-hardware ecosystem

In an Enterprise Digital Signage infrastructure, hardware is rarely homogeneous throughout its lifetime.

An international company may operate different manufacturers depending on the country, use different technologies for different formats or use cases, add new devices as its network evolves, and live with several generations of hardware side by side for years.

Technology shouldn't turn that reality into complexity for the teams managing the network.

With the addition of Sony BRAVIA, nsign.tv expands an ecosystem that makes it possible to work with different technologies and platforms — among them Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Sony BRAVIA, BrightSignOS, Android and Linux — while maintaining a single management and orchestration layer.

The goal isn't for Marketing, IT or Operations teams to have to manage the technology behind each screen. It's exactly the opposite: to abstract that complexity so they can manage the experience and the operation from a single environment.

A campaign, a schedule, a content policy or an operational change can be defined centrally and executed across a distributed, heterogeneous infrastructure without having to rebuild the operation for every manufacturer, market or device.

A global platform for Enterprise infrastructures

This capability becomes especially relevant for international organizations.

nsign.tv currently operates in more than 50 countries, supporting Digital Signage networks that need to maintain a consistent global operation while adapting to the particularities of each market, location and technology environment.

Sony's certification doesn't create a separate solution for BRAVIA. It integrates its Professional Displays into that same architecture.

For our customers, this means being able to bring Sony into new projects, expand existing deployments, or manage heterogeneous technology environments while keeping a single platform, a single operational logic and a centralized view of the entire network.

For integrators and partners, it means being able to build Sony projects on a platform ready to grow with the client: from a first deployment to international infrastructures with thousands of devices and multiple technologies.

Less technological complexity. More capacity to operate and grow.

At nsign.tv, we understand Digital Signage as an infrastructure that must be able to evolve without passing its technological complexity on to the business.

Sony BRAVIA's certification expands the technology options available to our customers and partners while keeping that principle intact: different devices, manufacturers, locations and markets can coexist within a single operation.

The technology stays in the background. Management, control and the ability to scale remain in one single place.
