At nsign, we are very proud to announce that Sergio Soriano, AV Sales Director at nsign Managed Solutions, has been selected as a finalist in the AV Professional of the Year category at the 2026 AV Awards.

Organized by AV Magazine, the AV Awards are among the most prestigious international accolades in the professional audiovisual industry. The AV Professional of the Year category honors professionals who have made an outstanding contribution to the sector and demonstrated leadership in managing teams, projects, and services related to the AV world.

The nomination recognizes Sergio’s role over the past year in some of nsign Managed Solutions’ most strategic projects, where he has helped turn complex ideas into real, scalable, and easy-to-operate audiovisual experiences.

One standout example is the work carried out for Grupo Porcelanosa and Noken, its brand specialising in bathroom solutions, at the Vila-real showroom. This project has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the Retail Project of the Year category at the AV Awards 2026. There, Sergio led the integration of more than 40 devices connected to nsign.tv with the space’s building automation system, sensors, and physical product interactions. Transparent screens, mirrors with hidden displays, interactive floors, LED walls, ceiling screens, and content activated by taps, lights, showers, or personalised cards used by the sales team transform the space into a sensory experience where technology supports the product without overshadowing it.

The submission also highlights his contribution to bringing Krispy Kreme to Spain, where Sergio was involved from the initial concept stage and helped define the digital model for the brand’s first store in the country. The Westfield Parquesur flagship in Madrid combines curved LED, digital menu boards, synchronised audio, and automated content delivery through nsign’s CMS platform, including the “Hot Now” activation, which transforms the store’s atmosphere when freshly made doughnuts are ready.

Another standout project is AREAS, an international foodservice and travel retail operator, for which nsign.tv manages more than 2,500 screens across 11 countries. Over the past year, Sergio has helped expand the client relationship beyond software, spearheading new LED projects at airports including Barcelona, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Madrid, and Tenerife South, as well as the SELF concept at Barcelona Airport.

In addition, Sergio has helped open up a new line of business for nsign Managed Solutions in the sports sector through its work with 1. FSV Mainz 05, a German Bundesliga club, on a project to refurbish the LED scoreboards at MEWA Arena, valued at more than €300,000.

Beyond the projects themselves, this nomination recognises a way of working: Sergio’s ability to connect creative vision, technical expertise, supplier management, installation, software, and day-to-day operations.

At nsign, we congratulate Sergio on this recognition and on his ongoing contribution to showing that the best technology is the kind that simplifies complexity and improves people’s experience.
